The Country Depot

While the ideal world would need no rules, we have a few that serve to keep you safe, comfortable, and our young visitors safe and happy. Basically, be nice, be respectful, and have fun.

EMAIL Notification: By joining you agree to accept updates and notices via email by the Admin. (You may filter these notices out via your email filters if you do not wish to get them). Make sure that your option is set to YES in your profile.

Statement: These forums are for those that want a place to meet and have a nice time. We want you comfortable inviting your friends and family. If you couldn't say or type it to your grandmother, please don't type or say it here.

1.) No Flaming: By definition, flaming is "To insult or criticize provokingly; to intend to incite anger." It's okay to disagree with people, but do so politely. Don't resort to petty name calling or personal insults.

2.) No Adult Content: Adult content consists of images, media, or text containing pornography, nudity, profanity or any other explicit material deemed inappropriate. No links allowed to content containing the afore mentioned items.

3.) Keep Images and Posts Clean: This site is rated "G". We do have occasional children of members here. Suggestive Avatars/Slogans/Signatures/Graphics/Posts will not be allowed. Nothing violent, Bloody, Gory, nude, partially nude, scantily clothed etc. should be posted. If you couldn't wear it to Church, or PTA, please don't post it. If you wouldn't say it to an 8 year old, please don't post it.

4.) Absolutely No Profanity: Most profanity and vulgar words are filtered. Please take no offense if a word you use is replaced by the filters or Staff. Attempting to bypass these filters is prohibited.

5.) No Illegal Material: No post regarding illegal activity of any type allowed. You are responsible for determining if anything you post here is copyrighted. If you are the author of any works found here in violation of your copyright, please contact the Admin so that it can be removed immediately.

6.) Contact information: You agree to provide a valid e-mail address in your Country Depot registration. The Country Depot staff must be able to contact you by e-mail if necessary to discuss your account. If the e-mail address in your profile is not valid, your posting privileges may be suspended.

7.) Multiple Registration/User Names: Are not allowed. Accidental double registrations can be taken care of. Notify the Staff if this happens to you, thanks.

8.) Use of a proxy: Is not allowed on this board. This is for security reasons and to prevent spammers from accessing the board.

9.) Final Authority: The Moderating Team reserves the right to edit, delete, merge, or remove any post. Never take the removal of your item personally. If something has been removed, contact a staff member. Members contesting decisions by Staff in open forum will be suspended/removed immediately. Discussion of action taken may be done with the staff by PM only. Copyright to forum posts and other information become the property of the forum.

10.) Signatures: The area below your post is your signature area (if you wish to use it). Graphics may not be more than 300H X 300W*. Please keep signature items "in line" so that they do not make the signature area "tall". *(Items placed in your signature by staff are exempt)

11.) Prospective Affiliates : Please read the Affiliation Guidelines to make sure you agree to the terms for affiliation before posting links in signature or open forum.

12.) Use of PM and EMAIL system:: Do not use the Depot PM or EMAIL system to solicit others for any reason. PM/EMAIL communications designed to cause discord are not allowed. Emails and PM's are logged. Please report any misuse.

Advertising: No advertising allowed any where on the board unless pre-approved by Admin/Staff

Arcade: The Country Depot Forum provides an Arcade for your pleasure and relaxation.

Games - We try hard to keep the games that we load on this site safe and clean for our family members. Sometimes unintentionally, a game slips by us that should not be on a family site, if you find such a game, please report it immediately so that we can remove it.

Chat Room {Real Time): We provide a real time Chat Room for members to utilize and chat. Board Rules apply and will be strictly enforced regarding language and or images. If you have any problems, report them to a staff member.

ShoutBox: Please do not use the Shout Box for support. Or just spamming. Use it to say hello to others and have a nice time. We have support areas in the forums for support, and a nice Chat Room for Extended Chats. Externally linked Graphics in the Shoutbox should be very small if used.

Youtube Videos: We make every effort to screen Youtube videos that are posted. Sometimes the videos listed after an appropriate Youtube video plays, may not be appropriate. Please report any inappropriate listings and we will remove them.

Acceptance of Rules:
By using this site, whether reading the discussion boards or using the links, or when you finish our registration process, you have acknowledged that you agree to the Rules as stated. This Agreement may be updated from time to time and we will notify you of any significant changes. Your continued use of our services signifies your acceptance of the changes. This Agreement will always be available on this page for you to read. Report buttons are throughout the board on posts, Topics, PM's. Please use these to report inappropriate material. Reports are kept confidential.
